Be the voice for children with NSPCC. Join us.

We are recruiting a senior leader who will shape how the NSPCC engages millions of people across the UK - driving deeper audience connection, sustainable income growth and greater impact for children.

This is a pivotal role in redefining public engagement at a moment of significant change for the organisation, combining insight, innovation and performance to unlock new opportunities at scale. If you are motivated by leading complex, high-impact work and delivering measurable results, we want to hear from you.

Lead the future of public engagement for children

The Engagement & Fundraising Directorate sits at the heart of how NSPCC grows its supporter base and generates income for children, at pace and at scale. Bringing together philanthropy, corporate partnerships and audience-led campaigning, the directorate plays a central role in delivering sustainable impact and protecting more children, sooner.

We are now recruiting for a new Director of Public Engagement. This role will shape how the NSPCC connects with the public, builds lasting relationships with supporters and unlocks new opportunities for growth.

Our vision

At the NSPCC, we protect children, prevent abuse, and support families through expert-led services, campaigning, and education; transforming childhoods and helping every child grow up feeling safe, heard and supported.

  • “AAW are outstanding. They ensured we had a singularly impressive range of quality candidates. They designed a discerning process for selection, they provided intelligent and insightful support, they really took time to understand our organisation, culture and as a result helped us get the ’fit’ right. Working people who themselves have been in senior fundraising roles makes such a difference."
